About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be on a mission - finally!

ABOUT ME

I'd say I'm open-minded, emphatic and I like trying out new things.

Music and travelling are essential parts of my life. My little girl's dream is to travel around the world with my favourite band (in their tour bus of course) working as a "tea boy" and enjoying my time ;-D
A more realistic idea of mine is travelling a spiritual country and getting to know myself even better.

PHILOSOPHY

Always live your dreams - act now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like meeting new people and I'm glad to help. I know some nice places where to go. We could meet for a coffee/drink in the evening or during my lunch break (approx. 12.30 pm). Just let me know if you fancy coming to Heidelberg for the weekend. When I'm not away I can always spare a few hours.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far - but looking forward to it

Interests

I love travelling and talking about it and I'm always curious on other peoples' stories about their worldwide experiences. I like hanging out with friends having a drink and getting active, doing some sports and taking naps as well (yes, I managed to combine it)! I've been living in Heidelberg for a few years now. Heidelberg is a beautiful city and it is very difficult to leave once it's captured you! Initially my idea was to stay for only two years, it's been more now...

Music, Movies, and Books

I love alternative music, British music, the 80s (e.g. The Cure, Joy Division), Electro pop and modern music like Daft Punk's Get Lucky and Robin Thicke's Blurrred Lines. And last but not least a German band called Tocotronic.

One of my favourite films is Bloody Sunday and The Beach.

Books I've read lately are a Traveller's Guide to Nepal, The Hunger Games and the Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

India was quite impressive. I travelled to India in 2012. I went to Karnataka and Kerala. I got the chance to see some of India#s most excting animals like elephants, tigers, lepards, colourful birds, deer. I had three exciting encounters with elephants. There was one elephant running towards us when I was sitting in a car making my way into the jungle. Later, we went for a walk in the jungle when - all of a sudden - an elephant came out of the bushes and looked at us for a few seconds (scary!!!). And last but least we explored our territory at night having a torch with us and suddenly there was an elephant standing in front of us - luckily behind the electric fence.

My first climb in the Alps! Amazing view from the top of the mountan and adrenalin rushing through my veins while climbing up the mountain!
