Overview
About Me
Im an adventurous, easygoing South African girl. Basically, the most exciting time of my life is whenever I have to move house or travel and be in a new environment. Im super chilled and just out to live my best life. Clothing designer by profession, Catwoman by heart. Virgo. Friendly. Trustworthy. Reliable and all the other stuff you need to know to assure you I'm not a creep.
I can't promise to be the best couch surfer you've ever hosted but I'm pretty open to experiences and always up for a (long) chat. I can make some food should resources allow, tighten up loose buttons on your clothes or whatever shows my gratitude.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Shoestring/budget travel is the best way to travel for me. You get to really get a feel of everyday local life and couchsurfing is a direct portal into just that.
Also get to meet and make friends all around the globe, hopefully! Experience cultures from locals whether it be from cooking a meal together, grabbing a beer or just a chat. Im really open to any suggestions from the hosts about where to go and what to do, after all they know more than me. I also find it really cool to attend couchsurfing meetings where you can be in a room full of people from all over the globe with different backgrounds and stories to tell.
Interests
Fashion. Food. Travel. Photography. Anthropology. Youth culture. Popular culture. Some topics in psychology. Just generally interested in the way people behave and how we interact with one another. Foreign culture, especially of the countries I visit or live in, is the juice of my life.
Music, Movies, and Books
Alternative(all types), futurebeats lounge, ambient.
Rather feeling Dutch trap right now. Neo-soul will usually win on a Sunday afternoon. Sucker for 90s throwbacks and disco.
Movies... The Illusionist, Requem for a dream, Moonrise Kingdom.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Deciding to pack up my stuff and move over 10000km to the opposite end of the world, by myself after having hardly left my home country.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A smile! Gratitude for your company. Whatever life phylosophy a twenty-something like myself can offer. And the promise that I won't trash your place 😉
