Have a penchant for travel around Asia. I'm obsessed with the continent -everything from its varied cultures & customs to food. With the exception of some parts of Thailand, I've never had a bad experience anywhere else in Asia. Take a particular liking towards Bali, South India and Chiang Mai. I've had experiences there like no other.

I value above everything else: humility in living. Living in harmony with nature, living in peace with fellow human beings.

When I travel, I want to immerse myself completely. I once spent two night in a mud hut in a remote mountain in Sri Lanka. So there is no environment that will be too uncomfortable for me.

I'm a rather simple person. I've not had an easy life but that doesn't mean I can't remain positive in my outlook. If I set my mind on something, I focus all my energy to do it. I've been lucky in that the universe, in return, has rewarded me with fascinating experiences.

When it comes to making friends, I rely on two ingredients - sincerity and humour. Sincerity in wanting to share life's moments with free-spirited people. And humour in finding amusement at some of the curveballs life throws our way. I do not enjoy the company of people whom lack these qualities.

CURRENT MISSION

Travel makes me feel free. I want to visit 40 countries in 40 years. (There's a list).

I'm adding Iran to it in 2017.

I usually travel solo and look forward to make connections with people who share the same kind of zest in life as I do.

Run, read, write occasionally (when I'm not working), hikes especially to waterfalls, cycling, communicating with kids, culture, music and movies.

I'm pretty open-minded so not limited.
