ABOUT ME

The boring stuff first:
I am currently 34 years old, have finished my diploma in social work four years ago and after that worked in a caring institution for children with challenging behavior (Autists, ADHD, drug abuse and things like that).

Since September 2008 I've started my mission "In 80 years around the world". So far I have made it to most European countries, Australia, South Korea and Nicaragua.

I am currently working and living in the lovely town of Shrewsbury in Shropshire, England.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't do anything to others that you don't want to have done to yourself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can currently not host any couchsurfers as I am living in a houseshare, and not every one here wants to participate, but I would be happy to meet up for a coffee or alcoholic beverages here in Shrewsbury. Every now and then I am travelling around to see new places and faces. Maybe I will be coming your way some time soon ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed one week with a family here in England when I first moved over here.

Interests

Travelling: I do like places with a fantastic natural environment better than big cities, just because they're different, whereas cities tend to look the same everywhere.

Reading: Historic novels, Fantasy (LOTR, Discworld etc.)

Music: Any kind of Rock Music (the harder the better), German Hip Hop, (Irish) Folk ... a little bit of this and a little bit of that except Techno, House and all that crap.

Partying: Backpacker Style :)
