Hi, there! Probably the first thing you will notice when meeting me is that I'm tall (1.92 m). However, I' m Dutch so I'm supposed to be I guess. Besides being tall I hope you' ll find me to be a nice person. I might be a little bit shy and quiet in the beginning but once we get to know eachother you hopefully see that I'm always up for a good laugh and/or adventure.

Since April 2019 I got a travel companion: A blue heeler pup named Huva. She listens well and loves to meet new people and other dogs. Hope she's welcome too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been wanting to try out Couchsurfing for awhile. I started travelling in Iceland where I did two Workaways of a month. After that I stayed a year in Australia where I did my internship and traveled around by car, so I basically had my house on wheels with me all the time. Now I will be travelling again first to Norway and then for a year to Canada, so I might need a couch to sleep on somewhere along the way.

At the moment I have no experience with couchsurfing. However, I have stayed at places trough workaway.info before. It's a great way to meet people who you otherwise wouldn't have met and you come to places you would otherwise never find yourself.

Interests

Being honest my hobbies always change, so I guess I like to try out new things?! However, I always like nature, farming and animals (especially dogs).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Abseiling for the first time and doing this down a waterfall! (Thought I was going to be afraid of the height, but it was the water instead).

Happy to help you around your house if there is anything you need to have done. Furthermore, I can always try to cook you something but don't expect anything too fancy as I' m not a masterchef.
