Hi!!
I'm Dinis, pleasure. I grew up in Leiria, a small city between between Lisbon and Porto, Portugal. At 17, left home to study Engineering Physics at University of Aveiro.
While the studies were fundamental for my education, my little kid travelling passion influenced me into joining a beautiful European student's organisation, and try Erasmus in eastern Europe.
During these past years, I roatripped the N2 (longest portuguese road) with my 2 best friends, sailed the Norwegian fjords and caught the Flam railway, traversed Denmark with my brother (both of us sleeping in the trunk of the car) and cruised the the Baltic sea in a ship full of Erasmus students. Other things as well, but let's save for the personal conversation.
I love music. I have DJ'd in my university, and played guitar with the band of my younger brother.

My studies are Engineering Physics. Very soon will have the thesis presented.
I consider myself to be an easy-going guy, flexible with plans, and curious. I am relaxed but always like to have something to do. Eager to listen and share stories of our human lives.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To meet new people while travelling and be economically sustainable. Also, as a host, I want to show my culture and my region to the world, and give back to the couchsurfing community the opportunities it gave me me.

Music: grew up listening to hard rock and metal, such as Metallica, Rammstein, Slipknot, Korn. More on a chill phase as an adult, very much into Childish Gambino, Mac deMarco, L'Imperatrice, Stromae... and digging into the roots of portuguese folk music.

Movies: lately been into animations. Really enjoyed "Inside Out", "Encanto" and "Coco".

Roadtripping Europe for 40 days with 2 friends has to be one of the favorite things I ever done.
