I am a 24 year old guy. I have a passion for ecology and I dream to work in the field of ecological restoration. I love to eat healthy and exercise. At the moment I am practicing yoga at a yoga school in Rotterdam. I listen to music practically all day long. I have a very broad taste in music and I am always interested in listening to stuff that I don't know yet or cross genres. I mostly listen to RnB, electronic and classical music. I go out quit a lot and I visit concerts frequently in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

I live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, in an old school building with about 14 other nice people where I have my own (class)room. We share the bathrooms and showers. The building is located in a neighborhood in the north of Rotterdam. It's 10 minute drive with the bus or 15 minutes by bicycle.
I know Rotterdam very well because I have been visiting it all my life. My studies, urban and regional planning, used Rotterdam as its case study in most courses. I can tell you a lot about the city, where to go and what to see.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am planning on using Couchsurfing as host but also as a traveler. I love to hear stories and learn from other peoples experiences. Off course, a big thing is that I don't want to spend too much money when travelling and I would like to give other people that opportunity too.

Building community gardens and sustainable food landscapes on multiple locations in the Netherlands. Also, travelling in Asia and Europe and some music events have had a lasting positive impact on me.

I could show you Rotterdam including its less known locations, take you with me and my friends to a party or concert if the opportunity is there. I could tell you about dutch culture.
