I joined CS a few months ago and had only positive experiences so far. First I hosted some people in London, which was quite interesting and inspiring.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to make the most out of our presence on earth. I also want to explore the amazing and beautiful region that is east and southeast Asia.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met local people and other travelers in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Singapore via CS. Some of the people I met were just amazing. My trip would have been totally different without these encounters and actually it is the people more than anything else that inspired me to move to Kong Hong.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Very positive so far... I hosted Couch Surfers from Indonesia, the US, Poland and France (both came in couples) plus I met one lady from Singapore. They were all inspiring and interesting people.
The people I met in Hong Kong were extremely welcoming, inspiring, just awesome. It was completely beyond expectations. I thing these encounters actually made my Asia trip one of the best experiences I ever had.

兴趣

Cantonese, Mandarin, Yoga, Tango, Sailing, Traveling, other Languages, Hiking, running, People... I also enjoy my job as an architect, particularly the teamwork aspect of it... I would like to start kite surfing in Hong Kong.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I thing my recent trip to Hong Kong, Singapore and Shanghai was the most exiting and inpiring eperience of my life so far. Another highlight was a trip to Cuba, where we stayed in "casas particulares" - I also enjoyed trips to attend friends weddings in India, Peru and Isreal. The most amazing experiences however are more personal, to do with people I met...

I am most interested in getting to know places from an insider perspective, i.e. what is happening in a City apart from the obvious. I am also quite keen to explain what I like about London, Berlin. Most important though to connect on some level without pressure, i.e. I am happy to talk or listen a lot or not, depending on the situation etc.
