ABOUT ME

I'm a college student in Portland, getting ready to graduate this December and then do some adventuring! I love to explore different places and lifestyles, listen to music (I love going to live shows! Especially punk/ska/etc.), play music, eat burritos, read books (I love Bukowski, Vonnegut, Wang Shuo, Orwell), sketch, meet interesting people...

Honestly I'm not exactly sure what I'm all about, and I don't think I'll ever know what I'm all about, but I'm enjoying the journey to figuring it out.

Went to lots of couch surfing events in Beijing and couchsurfed around China.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed on a few couches in China, hung out at CS gatherings in Beijing and New York. Met some really interesting and amazing people.

Interests

Reading, playing music, meeting interesting people, experiencing new things, learning languages (working at chinese and french at the moment, I also really want to learn spanish and arabic!) , politics and keeping up on independent media ( I love democracy now), going to see live music...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Road tripping from Chicago to Portland I saw a thunderstorm from a long ways away and could see the lightning bolts all the way down from the dark grey sky, even though it was clear out where I was driving.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Drum kit, english, basic sewing/clothes repair,how to make tasty cinnamon rolls, swimming, edible plants of Michigan

Learn: Chinese, french, spanish, arabic, wilderness survival skills, bicycle repair, cooking, anything you want to teach
