My name is Diogenes. I live in Sao Paulo, southeast Brazil.
I'm living around the world since 1984.
I am amateur photographer and I also work in a hotel.

I am fascinated by the world and its cultures, I love travelling and meet new people.
I have two great passions in life, trips and photography, I'm always traveling and taking pictures everywhere I go, and exchanging experiences as well. I also love literature, music, animals and adventure sports.

I have a group of friends who think and live like me, in 2008 we formed a travel group named "Friends, trips and trekking".
We share the same passions for trips and meeting people, we are also always doing trekkings in the nature, it's the best thing in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Like every backpacker, I like traveling and meeting new people and cultures. Go to a place and staying at the home of a local resident is the best way to get a richer experience combined with further a more economical trip.

I love rock and MPB.
Petra is my favorite band and classic rock is my fovourite style of music.
I also love classic movies like Ben Hur, or movies with good script like Intouchables .

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been traveling and working for 8 mounths around the world in a cruise ship..
Knowing many countries and people from everywhere in the globe.
No doubt this was a very enriching experience I've ever experienced.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately my house is far from the center of Sao Paulo and I don't have a second bedroom at home, so I can't receive guests, but I know my city like no one else and can serve as a guide for the city.
