My name is Diogo, I'm 20 years old and I'm from the one and only Portugal !
I'm a architecture student who loves global architecture and travelling. Right now I'm starting this new life of discovering differents cultures, gastronomies and places by living with them directly.
I'm a nature and ocean lover, and since I was a litle boy I was taught that the best way to expand our culture and knowledge is to live it directly living the moment and feeling it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Nowadays it's very easy to book a hostel or a hotel in many platforms to the place we want to know and it is very easy to travell and discover a city, but, in my opinion, we lose big factors that are very important to increase our culture. Like the contact with local people or try some food that are very expensive and doesn't transmit the real feeling of knowing about the culture. The Couchsurfing reflects the connection between the perfect feeling of knowing what is like to live in a determinated culture and the travellers.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- I like a little bit of everything, I have bands that I love like The black keys, Gary Clark jr, Foals, Cage the Elephant, rappers too like Stormzy, Asap Rocky, Travis Scott and every tipe of electronic music that can makes dance
Movies - I'm a huge fan of french comedy, every movie that makes live our life, moment to moment like Point Break, Chasing the mavericks, Captain fantastic and I love movies that tells a real event.

Books- For me architecture books it's like a candy to a child ahaha, other books Iand don't read very often.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year (2017) I had the pleasure to travelling across France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Slovenia and Italy with a van for two weeks. Seeing the most and incredible landscapes that a I had ever saw.
