About Me

Hi! My name is Diogo, I'm 28, born and raised in Brazil, work as an art director for advertisement (and I also happen to be an English teacher).

I'm passionate about learning, and traveling just brings that about in the best way possible: taking us out of our comfort zones. From there, people, places, sensations and everything else is turned into the most amazig way to become better people. That's why I travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing (actually I'm pretty new at it) because I think it provides us with a real local experience, apart from helping us meet amazing new people.

Interests

I am interested in new stuff, as long as it provides me with a feeling of the place I'm visiting. I'm specially interested in local beers, food, culture and urban experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't really have a favorite kind of music, but about movies and books, I like classics, even though I'll never be closed for new stuff, as long as it's not Twillight-level (lol).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving in Buenos Aires and buying a ticket to Mexico City when drunk (and eventually visiting it) were two thrilling things I've done. But every trip's a new great thing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that traveling is like reseting our minds only to rescue everything back when we return, to mix the new experiences with the old ones and shift our point of views into new and better ones.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My life experiences, good will to chat and help with anything necessary while I'm a guest, as well as share moments of cultural exchange with people. I try not to be boring (lol).

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Mexico, Netherlands, Portugal
