ABOUT ME

I consider myself a nice guy. I love to play guitar and I think that music it's the most powerful thing in the whole world!

Right now I'm doing a Gap Year. An 8 months trip where I'll be travelling for 5 islands of Azores, 5 countries of South America and 5 cities of USA!

I'm not very good at sports but I love to work out. Run is one of my favorite things and after my Gap Year I'm going to start training for a marathon!

I love food and cooking it's other thing I love. Although I don't know much of it, I want to learn more and next year I'll be studying to be a chef.

I also love comedy, my favorite comedian is Louis CK. Not only he's a funny guy but he also says a lot f things that I relate to.

PHILOSOPHY

We should always try to find something we love and we're good at. We all have problems but if we live our lives doing what we love, we'll overcome those problems in a much easier way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For now I'm just surfing, since I don't have my own house. But, when I finish this 1 year trip I'm doing, I'll also be a host! I think Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to meet new cultures and make good friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfing for about two weeks in São Paulo. And one week in Montevideo. Awesome experiences! Want to keep surfing and, when i get a house, I'll certainly provide couch to travelers from all over the world!

Books: I don't read as much as I'd like to but, I grew up reading the Harry Potter series so, those books were a really big part of my childhood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed Pico's mountain (the tallest montain in Portugal), when I was 17 years old, with my friend Rúben. (We went all by our selves!!!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach guitar. I would like to know more about cooking. A good thing to share is musical knowledge, since I think that that music is one of the best ways to connect with someone and star a conversation (who knows if a good friendship!)
