CURRENT MISSION
I'm currently in a 10 months trip around Asia with my girlfriend.
I started in Georgia and i plan to go all the way till southeast Asia and come back to Europe through the Transiberian Train.
I am very passionate about travelling.
I like the new cultures the different food, smells and tastes. I like the culture shock and interact with the locals.

ABOUT ME

Hello everybody, I am Diogo, I'm 24. I'm from Lisbon Portugal. Till i was 18 i had a very common lifestyle, studying, and figuring out what i wanted to do with this life.
One day i had the opportunity to travel around Europe with some friends and meet very interesting people with very different life styles. This for me was the changing point in my life.

I decided to finish school and left university for the one that really want to go. At 19 i started working abroad in France, where i started some fruit picking jobs, which gave me enough money to keep on travelling.

At 20 i bought my "house" an Iveco container truck that i converted into a fully off grid house.
4 years later it is still my home and i use it to travel around Europe while working and at the same time.

This kind of simple life enables me to save a lot of money and to travel pretty much all the time. Most of my time i spend in Europe, when i get the chance i go outside of Europe, where things for me get really interesting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm on couchsurf because it is for sure the best way to get to know the place you want to visit. I don't like to travel by a travel guide or internet opinions.
By using couchsurf you can meet the locals, and who better than them to show you their city, their cuisine, culture and way of life.
And finally because making new friends is something that i'm always looking forward to.

My main interest is travelling. But i really like to work outdoors, building things or just fixing them
I want to buy a piece of land and build an eco farm to live sustainable life style.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've converted a van in to my off-grid house. Which is now my current home. I live in it basically all year, and travel around Europe when im not working.
