About Me

Hey there!

I'm just a average person, well in the middle of the gaussian distribution of typical characteristic that describe a human being...

Although there are some distinctive features I think.
I guess it's just easier to find out because I was not offered the gift of words.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From what I've experienced and have been told there is no better way to know a place or culture than through the people that actually live there.

With that in mind couch surfing seems like the best way to achieve this. Maybe it sounds a bit selfish. But when I get the chance to show of my city to someone it really makes me happy...
All the little stories I can share and the little nice place I know... I think it just makes the exploration process much more enjoyable, that and that fact that, by the end of the day, you have a friendly person's couch waiting for you.

I want to be the one on the other side of the "show and tell" sometimes

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Mainly jazz, blues, rock, indie, classical, soundtracks... it depends. I rarely remember the name of the artist or song,
Most of the songs I like I get to know through a movie, game or night out with friends. I like to be taken back to those moments when I listen to them I guess

Movies:
Anything, as long as the story pulls me in. More into Sci-fi

Books: Fiction, some historical biographies, recently Lovecraft

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been through a week of survival on a deserted island. During that time I only worried about the most fundamental aspects of my life, water, shelter, food. I created strong bonds of comradeship and started to see the world from a new (I guess simpler) perspective.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some fine Portuguese recipes (not really), cool life hacks, wacky Portuguese cultural trivia and maybe some songs.
If I have the inspiration I can probably draw you something or give you a small drawing class

I tend to enjoy learning about personal experiences, life advice, cute hidden places you might know and recipes

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bunch of personal stories, party tricks, curiosities about stuff in general, crazy Portuguese words

Countries I’ve Visited

England, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In

Portugal
