Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live by myself in Rio and I'm used to have friends from all Brazil staying here, and I would also visit them sometimes. One of these friends is Lavinia, from Recife, who introduced me to Couch Surfing.

I'm able to receive CS guests at my place, there's a couch where guests can sleep and it is so good that I sleep on it all the time. I think it's better than my own bed.

My couch surfing experience didn't begin with this website. I worked at Disney in 2006 and there I've made friends who visited me and I visited after the Disney College Program. Most of them Brazilian friends from Recife, Curitiba, São Paulo, Brasília and Belo Horizonte and a few friends from US.

Interests

I like a little bit of everything... But of course, some things i like a little bit more ;)

I don't watch tv... cause i download everything and watch. Love tv shows, specially the comedy ones. I can associate any moment in life to a South Park/Friends/Family Guy episode or a Saturday Night Live/MadTV sketch. I also think I've watched every (really) funny video on youtube, but don't mind showing me a new one. I love a good laugh. :D

Love sports... but only love watching it, i'm a complete disaster as an athlete. At least it didn't stopped me from liking watching and discussing it, but I'm not that crazy to fight about it. Sports is about entertaining, not fighting!

And yes, i'm a nerd. But I try not to be one all the time. My dad started working with computers before i was born, so that's not my fault. I can spend hours surfing on the web and even forget I need to eat (maybe that's the reason why i'm so skinny).

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies and books there are a lot. I usually prefer movies with good stories than those with a lot of explosions. Comedy, drama, sci-fi and documentaries are my favorites, but not any comedy, drama, sci-fi or documentary. ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well... It wasn't the most important thing i've done in life (I hope) but I love to talk about it and people also love to ask: I worked at Disney as a character and have a few funny stories about it. When Lavinia calls me Goffy it's because I was "with" Goffy all the time. ;P

I can't forget about the visit to the Lençóis Maranhenses, in Maranhão. We took a lot of pictures there, but nothing compares with the real sight. It's amazing, the world seems even bigger and we feel even smaller. Another place in Brasil I would recommend anyone is Morro de São Paulo (Bahia coast) and Ilha do Mel (Parana coast) both beautiful islands.

Around the world I also loved Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, the historic buildings of Rome and Paris, the Keukenhof tulip gardens and visiting Cuzco and Machu Picchu in Peru.
