Update 2020: it took me longer than I thought... but here I am: another house, another country... let's do this once again! :)

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for financial independence. That's just the mean. My ultimate goal is to become patron of myself in order to be able to spend my time doing what I want and I like the most, that is reading, studying and collect the greatest possible slice of human knowledge and wisdom in my dream house in the woods.
Sounds too much...? Don't worry: I have a plan... >:)
Meanwhile, I would like to resume hosting strangers from all around the globe: that's right, Earth is not flat, deal with it.

Hi everybody!! :-D
My name is Moreno and I'm updating this profile which is now 5 years old...
At that time I was leaving in Norway, working in the Oil&Gas industry, leaving the dream and thinking that everything was going perfectly. After that, many things stopped to work so perfectly and I'm still trying to deal with that. The good point is that I realized many things from all that story... (Did I...? Maybe not really... but I strive to commit better mistakes... :)

The only possible revolution is the personal one.
I trust in life and people, the good ones.
Everything happens in the right time and everything goes in the best way... even if not always we realize it immediately.
I love knowledge and despise every kind of superstition.
Given the choice, I choose to be happy: heaven and hell are in this life and we made them with our choices and attitude.
The meaning of life is the life, the end of life is the end.
There are no problems, only challenges!
Disclaimer: just because I think something wise is wise, that doesn' t mean I'm already able to act accordingly... but I try to be better than before...

I have a free room with a single bed, a couch but the number of guests I can host depends mostly on how easy you can adapt... ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Thanks to CS I met beautiful people, learned a bit of English and finally found a very good job abroad. After a while I realized that all started from CS: my new life, my satisfaction, my peacefulness... Consequently, the best I can do is to offer my home to the rest of the world!

Interests

I consider myself very curious about almost anything(*) but I have no art sensibility whatsoever so the kind of curiosity I tend to cultivate may seem to be quite strange for most of normal people...
I like Science, expecially Math, Physics and Chemistry, History, reality over fiction (but I adore J.R.R. Tolkien), Economics, Finance and Investing.
I'm inspired by great people's life and fascinated by fun facts.
I like sex as well (who does not?!) and I state it just because, speaking with my friends, it seems I like it a bit more than the average person out there... hence, if you think you are on my same page, don't be shy because I will.
(For all the other people: don't worry, I'm a decent host and I won't misbehave...;)

I worked in the Oil and Gas industry: I traveled, saw amazing things and met great people from all over the world ... it's awesome! :-D

I can share just what I know: general knowledge, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Oil and Gas related stuff and some varied and general notions of other subjects but I'm profoundly ignorant in many other things, and the more I learn the more I'd like to know!
