Brought up in an Asian family in Hong Kong, my motto of life is to Be Happy. To live my happy life to my fullest, I strive to meet new people in new places, learn from them, laugh with them, be thankful, love life and live life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first heard about Couchsurfing through a random conversation with some CSers in a hot tub (yep, ask me for the full story!)... It wasn't till one day as I was procrastinating from studies, I decided to spend a "little bit of time" setting up my profile, and really getting into it. From then on, I have participated in various events, surfed and hosted.

I believe that we learn something from every person who crosses our lives, and that every one makes changes to our lives - big or small. Couchsurfing serves as a window for me to interact, exchange, inspire and be inspired.

Because CS is a platform for exchange, it is important that we learn about each other in order to build a nice friendship bond.

Interests

I like to get to know people and learn about their personalities. Everyone has their own stories and I am always, always intrigued by each and every single one of them. I enjoy good conversations especially when doing things we both enjoy. While I loveeeee hiking, jogging, swimming (in a pool) and most outdoor activities, I equally enjoy cooking, a good book, and a quiet night in.

Music, Movies, and Books

I appreciate all types of music but I do not usually listen to loud, rock music.

Hector & the Search for Happiness is my favourite movie (though surprisingly and unfortunately, the book is not as great as I thought it would be). I generally dislike chickflicks, and I avoid horror movies completely.

Books - more like a magazine - NatGeo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekked the Everest Circuit over 3 weeks ( broke my rib and my PB of not showering for 16 days), hiked the 223km Larapinta Trail in Alice Springs in 6 days, had the first car stop for me in my first hitchhiking experience, made countless people laugh with my funny jokes... :D
