About Me

I am a budding theoretical physicist and avid traveller. I like road trips, hiking, camping and visiting less-visited places. I like to bond over beers and conversation. I'm a little introverted but some initial enthusiasm from your side can help me open up and then I'm your bud. I love cooking and willing to share trade secrets :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Honestly, just meet new people! It can be a little intimidating for me to approach people in new places I visit and I'm mostly underprepared with my research, leaving my travels unsatiated. I feel the best way is to have a local friend with whom you can explore and actually have fun in the process than just seeing monuments and museums (which is fun too!).

Music, Movies, and Books

Ah where do I start. The tasteful palette of 70s Rock, 90s hip hop, KANYE WEST, FRANK OCEAN, electronic (not EDM) and Jazz. Probably would take a book to write all the music I like. Speaking of which, love reading fantasy series, non-fiction books and good literary works.
Am I the only one who prefers TV Series over movies? Trakt tells me me I've watched over 50 shows and requests me to get a life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have I done amazing stuff? One time I flipped a bottle that landed straight so yeah that was that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've taught cooking to many starving students, so I guess that's it. I can probably teach you some advanced math or physics if you want it. Just don't ask me to vacate the premises next. I have some stories about my country to share which in my experience foreigners find either interesting or extremely funny. I'm trying to learn to be more extroverted and I think meeting new people will give me the confidence.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to bring humour to the table. Plus, who doesn't like chicken tikka masala?
