ABOUT ME

my name is annabelle, i grew up in the eastern part of berlin and two years ago i discovered my passion for travelling. during this time i visited france, spain, poland, tchech republic, again france and i did my voluntary service in lithuania. i was given a shelter by a nice brother-and-sister-couple of russian origin who are also registered at couchsurfing. my very strong character and my weakness to judge situations and persons very quick is compensated by a permanent self-doubt which finally makes me a nice, thoughtful, talkative and companionable person. now i study english and art as a teacher in greifswald.

PHILOSOPHY

There's a German sentence which says "Was du nicht willst, das man dir tut, das füg auch keinem anderen zu." It means, that you should always behave in that way, that you also want other people to behave. And that you never should treat people in a way, in which you don't want to be treated. I follow this idea with great conviction. People who know me can witness that and sometimes my will to be good is seen as naivety.

at the moment i cannot really offer a couch, but if there is someone in deep trouble i will find a solution =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

was mainly great until now. of course sometimes problems occur or the place to sleep is reeeaally not nice, but if you take it easy and with humor, you can cope with everything. the most important thing is, that the people are friendly and they ALWAYS are!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I love the Dali-Museum in Figueres and these big, beautiful and impressive ravens in the Tower of London. One of my biggest dreams in life is to swim with a humpback whale.

Many people enjoy my company because I am good at listening and feeling with somebody. I can teach people patience, empathy and solving conflicts peacefully. What I want to learn is how to be more self-confident and how to defend myself against spoken attacs.
