About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a student of Applied Physics in Vilnius University. People describe me as a friendly, calm and cheerful person. To some I may look a little bit closed person, but I definitely open myself to people when we get acquainted. Responsibility is important for me as well as respect for people and I treat people the way I would like to be treated. :)
PHILOSOPHY
I think that positive attitude is crucial in life, so I try keeping it everyday, no matter how difficult life may look at that moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I don't have many possibilities to host people, because I'm a student and live in a dormitory. As for couchsurfing myself, I'm going to have my first experience very soon. And I hope that in the future I will be able to host some couchsurfers too.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I don't have any yet, but I hope that in the nearest future I will be able to change my answer to this question.
Interests
I have many different interests, some of which I will list below.
- science: science fascinates me, especially maths and physics - that's why I'm studying it.
- sports: football and tennis are my favourite, I like both playing them and watching.
- travelling: I think everybody (at least on Couchsurfing) likes travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pink Floyd, Tool, Blind Guardian, Metallica, Kamelot and many other rock and metal bands are my favourite, but I don't stick only to "heavy" music - I like beautiful and melodic music, no matter what style it is.
Books: I like reading, especially fantasy and science fiction (for example, Asimov, Heinlein, Zelazny). I also like XX century authors of other genres, most of all - E.M.Remarque.
Movies: I like watching movies, but I have too many favourites to list them here.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One summer I went on a trip with friends and during the night, when I was sleeping in a tent, one of my friends woke me up and said to go outside and look at the sky. I did what he had told to me: crawled outside, looked above and speechlessly stood there for quite a long time, struck with awe - the night sky was amazing: thousands and thousands of stars were shining brightly, forming beautiful constellations, and in the center the magnificent Milky Way, looking like a misty river of stars, spread across the sky, glowing with a cold, mild light. Never before or since have I seen such a beautiful night sky. Of course this description is a little bit exaggerated, but in my memory it looks exactly like this, and this is definitely the most amazing thing I have seen in my life.
