Pronouns: They/Them

Influenced by the Beat Generation movement, Diren is an interdisciplinary artist working on “creating routes” in theirs life and art production. During their travels, they invented a guerrilla-style anti-elitist gallery concept called the "Art Space Project". Since starting this Project in a village of Fethiye in 2016, they has established more than 30 art spaces where people are intertwined with art.

Impressed by the period they spent in the Department of Ancient Greek Language and Literature at Istanbul University in 2016, they dropped out of school and hitchhiked to ancient cities and temples. Later, in 2017, they started to study Sculpture at Marmara University Faculty of Fine Arts and Philosophy at Istanbul University as a secondary education. For this reason, the concepts of "Paganism" and reinterpreted "ritual" became prominent themes in their works.

They made yoga practices competent in Sivananda Yoga school under the roof of Hara Yoga Vedanta Center in 2018. In 2019, they embarked on a spiritual journey in India, spending time in ashrams and Buddhist monasteries, absorbing Eastern teachings. During their time in India, they specialized in Vinyasa, Kundalini and Hatha Yoga styles in SoShanti Yoga School and received Sound Therapy training in Kaliash Yoga School. In the same period, they founded the Wellness platform Receive The Healing.

Diren is also a practitioner of many different systems such as Access Bars, Reiki, Ra-Sheeba. At the center of Diren's wellness and healing practices, there is Ecstatic Dance and Cacao ceremonies, where they blends performance art/ritual experiences. Diren's goal is to touch hearts through art and physical activity; To be a guide for those who want to include yoga in their lives.
