A few years ago I got divorced, and since my job allows me to work anywhere in the world, I thought I'd live and work in Tofino.

I fell in love with Tofino many years ago, and I have been living and working here - on and off - for about 5 years now.

Some locals here locals are not fond of tourists, and have developed a bit of contempt for them.

But not me - I love the tourists. I love the adventures that they're on - from all over the world - and I love the excitement and sense of adventure they all have when they come here. It constantly reminds me of the first time I came here. I love talking to people and hearing their travel stories - or just their story in general.
Anyone looking to get away from the big cities - or just for adventure - is my kind of people :)

If you ask me - I think some of the locals have forgotten their love and excitement for this beautiful place.

Even after all these years I still act like a tourist - taking pictures of mountains and birds and you would hardly be able to distinguish me from any other tourist.

I am happy to meet new people and particularly any type of artists.
I am happy to show you around, direct you to the adventures, or just provide a place for you to crash.

I am a computer programmer working from my condo rental in Tofino.
I am pretty chill - work during the day - walk the beaches in the evening, a bit of socializing some nights.
I am working on an album of my own songs. Have a little mini recording studio type thing going on with my computers and such.

If you are totally chill... and I am not too busy with work - perhaps you can stay a few days? :)
