Overview
About Me
I'm laid back, outgoing and open minded. My personal interests lie mostly in outdoor activities, environmental ethics, understanding life, making music, mountain biking, doing yoga, reading good books and (who doesn't?) having fun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Backpacking and hitchiking through Europe and Australia I have seen many hostels, campsites and other camp spots, but with couchsurfing I hope to find an added personal touch to stays in the places I visit. I live in a shared house where I have twoo rooms, which I could share with you. I also would very much love to show people around Utrecht or have a drink.
Interests
Interested how different people have different views of and on the world and try to pick this up through traveling.
I'm interested in nature and like to go into the woods and go diving. I like to learn about sustainability, ethics, animism and a lot more.
Furthermore I like a good drum 'n bass or dubstep party, a nice metal concert, jamming with people, bare feet dancing, or just a beer in a bar.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: All kinds of things that get you thinking, at the moment mostly (semi) philosophical novels about environmentalism and ethics. Writers like: Henry Thoreau, Daniel Quinn, Jack Kerouack, Herman Hesse, F.S.C. Northrop and Robert Pirsig.
Music: Almost all genres. From drum 'n bass and dubstep to metal and from ska to post-rock.
Movies: Lately I don't watch a lot of movies, but generally I like 'mindfuckers' a lot. Movies like Memento, Donnie Darko and The Prestige.
