About Me
CURRENT MISSION
get to know the world and create my own opinion about all the places people keep telling me about.. have this distant dream to "live" in every country in the world for a while..
So far I can tick off Europe (Germany) and Australia (term abroad)
This year its time for me to get to know Rochester, US for a few months and maybe in the future I will have chance to emerge myself into the other continents as well..
Until then.. I keep studying sports and hopefully will be a successfull sports scientist some day..
ABOUT ME
I listen to all kinds of music and want to get to know new cultures and places worth to see.
Now is the time, I can explore the world. That's the reason, why I wanted to try Couchsurfing!
Best travel experience: late night tea in the front porch in Australia. The guy borrowed us his tools because our car broke down.. end of the story: memorable evening with a lot of music and laughter!
If you want to know anything more: feel free to contact me! Cheers, Dirk
PHILOSOPHY
Live in the presence and enjoy the future !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Getting to know locals is the best way to understand the place you are visiting!
They show you the other side of a place, apart from the hotels, and tourist destinations!
I can provide excellent (more or less..) cooking skills. Anyway, willing to improve my cooking!
I am always open for a talk and an open minded person!
Interests
I do all kinds of sports. Whatever sport you can imagine: I am sure I love it!
During semester I study of course ;) (which is more sport for me indeed), but don't worry, I'm always open for a beer or two in the evening and have other things in mind apart from sport :).
