ABOUT ME

I've moved a lot in my life. My dad blames himself for putting gypsy blood in me. We both assume this is where I get my propensity for traveling. I haven't done much traveling lately but one day I'll hit the road again. And this seems like a good way to build up some positive travel karma.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Come stay with me! I have two cats, a dog, a great backyard and I love to cook. Plus I'm close to the beach all sorts of public transit!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with friends my whole life. I think hotels are nice, but never worth the money. I've never couch surfed as part of community like this before, but I dig it. Oh, I used to rent the extra couches in one of my apartments to cut back on rent. So I have experience with that type of chaos. Some might say I thrive on it.

Only one?! I have participated in some of the most sublimely ridiculous and overwhelmingly beautiful things ever. I marvel at what I've experienced and am uncertain if I could even encapsulate the experience in any way in order to share it. I wish I was better with words for exactly this reason. Alas.

I love to cook and love to teach and learn. I'm no expert, but I'm certain I have things to share. I also love playing cards and love to learn new games. Finally, I'm quite knowledgable in early American history and I'm willing to share what I know.
