About Me

Greetings, fellow adventurers! 🌍✈️

While Moscow is where I hang my hat, you'll frequently find me on the go, uncovering new destinations and embracing each journey with a smile! 😊 I'm a devoted advocate of the vibrant and open-hearted Couchsurfing community, and let me assure you, the world serves as my playground.

Having explored nearly 50 countries, I wholeheartedly believe that Moscow is the ultimate place to call home. But Moscow is so much more than just my residence; it's a thriving cultural epicenter. It boasts top-notch services, reasonable prices, impeccable cleanliness, excellent healthcare, remarkable career prospects, and, of course, the warmest of people. Here, you'll encounter an array of exquisite restaurants and a world-class nightlife that keeps the city alive all week long. Whether you're captivated by ballet, art exhibitions, or the desire for new experiences, Moscow offers it all, and I'm excited to share this vibrant city with my future guests.

My Mission: Seek more, be everywhere, embrace new adventures, and share smiles with the entire planet. I wholeheartedly embody the spirit of Couchsurfing.

About Me: I'm an active and optimistic individual who loves the thrill of discovering new places and meeting diverse souls. I'm always thrilled to host experienced couchsurfers and expand my horizons. I’m your friendly host from Russia, and I'm just a message away.

I'm your host with the most, and in case you're wondering, I'm Team HETERO! But hey, I'm all for embracing the wonderful tapestry of human preferences. The only thing I ask is that we keep things classy and respectful. After all, Couchsurfing isn't a dating app – it's more about building connections, not swiping left or right! So, if sparks fly, consider it a cool bonus, but it's not the main event. Let's keep it friendly and fun! 😊🌟

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The allure of Couchsurfing never ceases to amaze me. While I'm no stranger to the typical travel experience, there's something enchanting about living with locals, immersing myself in their daily life, and cultivating new friendships along the way. Presently, I call Moscow my home, and I'm thrilled to welcome fellow travelers for stays of up to 3 days. I highly value positive references, as I've encountered a few bumps in the past. If you happen to be my guest, know that I'm dedicated to making your visit comfortable and enjoyable, and I look forward to the same welcoming spirit from my future hosts during my travels.

Interests

I thrive on active sports (think snowboarding, jogging, cycling, and more), getting lost in captivating books, admiring sportbikes and choppers, exploring the world of cars, cherishing the arts (theater, opera, museums), savoring the joy of a great party, discovering new places, and enjoying some shisha with a myriad of flavors.

Music, Movies, and Books

My shelves are filled with classics like Dostoevsky, Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts, and Erich Maria Remarque's "Drei Kameraden" (Three Comrades), to name just a few.
As for movies, the list includes gems like "Inside I'm dancing," "The Mask," "Casino Royale," "Taken," and many more.

Teach, Learn, Share

Let me share a bit about my professional journey. I've been around, wearing different hats and doing some exciting things. My career has taken me through various avenues, including brokerage, commercial and private banking, and investments in the American stock market. I've also dipped my toes into international trade, procurement, and management in the realms of construction, commercial real estate, architecture, and materials production.

However, my experience goes far beyond just corporate landscapes. I've dabbled in the world of marketing, orchestrating casting calls, photo shoots, and collaborating with celebrities and influencers. I've also wrangled the ever-elusive social media realm.

On top of that, I've donned the teacher's hat, crafting personalized learning programs and methodologies for English and German languages. I've helped students prepare for a plethora of exams, from IELTS and OGE to EGE (English) and TestDaF, DSD, and BULATS (German).

Amidst this professional whirlwind, I've honed my skills in the financial realm, managing and developing portfolios of investment products like stocks, bonds, ETFs, structured notes, IPOs, pre-IPOs, and mutual funds. I've been the captain of my ship, making decisions based on recommendations from my own manager and Western analysts. I've conducted my very own due diligence, assessed risk profiles, and identified needs. And, of course, I've danced the negotiation tango with investment banks and investors alike.

To top it off, I'm a tech-savvy individual, comfortably navigating my way through office gear and PC software. Whether it's Windows tools like Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or their Mac OS counterparts - OpenOffice, Pages, and Numbers - I'm your go-to guru.

Now, why am I sharing all this? Well, because I want you to know that I've got the skills and expertise to make your Moscow adventure unforgettable and cozy. 🚀 So, hop on board, and let's make some memories!

What I Can Share with Hosts

A Peek Into My Home: I have a cozy room in a three-room apartment. Two other delightful souls occupy the remaining rooms. They're a quiet bunch, so no need to worry about noise.

Using My Kitchen: Yes, you're more than welcome to use my kitchen. Just remember to leave it as you found it—sparkling clean! Let's be polite and keep the space tidy for everyone.

Safety First: Moscow is incredibly safe, and there's no need to fret about the neighborhood. There's a lovely park and a serene lake nearby, and the metro station is just a stone's throw away.
