ABOUT ME

Lived in Wellington, New Zealand basically my whole life, have done a LOT of travelling around NZ, spent 6 months in the USA, and a few weeks in Europe (with family and friends). I'm an avid bookcrosser and markeroon (I like reading and history).

PHILOSOPHY

Live life the way you see fit, without infringing on the way other people live their lives, the way they see fit! I live my life because as my mum says, 'if you aren't going to do something properly, you may as well not do it at all'...although I think she is referring to other things!

Music, Movies, and Books

gosh...would you like the condensed version or the encyclopedia! Love murder mysteries, teens/kids books (well written ones), and general fiction. Movies...love good kids ones (Shrek, Flushed Away, Bridge to Terabithia are all favourites), a good sob/love story, NOT horror/terror or anything scary (and yes, I do include Scary Movie as scary :s). Favourite band right now is Death Cab for Cutie, and favourite singer is Amanda Palmer (in her various incarnations), but I have a wide range of music that I love! My favourite authors are Neil Gaiman and Michael Morpurgo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the sun rise on the beach at Gallipoli (Turkey). Driving through the Southern Alps listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack and watching the sun set. Seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland.

Teach, Learn, Share

Know a little bit of Maori (one of our official languages in New Zealand), and always willing to share smiles! LOVE to learn about other cultures! I'm also learning the ukulele at the moment.
