About Me
Hey,
I live in Auckland where I have grown up and spent the majority of my life. I completed a degree in Anthropology at the University of Auckland and spent a lot of my 20s travelling in between studying. I am now a teacher and as it is a pretty intense job it takes up a lot of my time during the week.
I am an avid homebrewer and spend a lot of my free time in the weekends focusing and experimenting with new beers.
Alongside Anthropology I studied Film and this is a big passion of mine as well although I don't always have much time anymore to work with film production.
I recently got a new puppy and this has been a great new learning experience as he is full of energy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couchsurfed my way across the USA in 2008 and met a number of interesting people and stayed in some very friendly and relaxed homes. I am firing up the account again to be a host and repay this experience forward to others. I have my own space and a free room so it is only fitting that I open it up to a community who let me travel so easily in the past.
