About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to find a comfortable place on earth
ABOUT ME
This is so unfair to have to fit myself in a short description... but to try:
I am an education volunteer with the Peace Corps in Madagascar, after having spent a year with some fantastic CS-ers in Seattle, WA. Besides racking my brains out over the finer points of teaching ESL, I'm also an aspiring travel blogger/writer at (Beat Nomad) / biker / rock climber / human being.
Coffee, literature, upbeat people, and exploring the world all make me incredibly happy. Oh. And food. I adore food. Double Oh. Add Northwest beers. *sigh* le nostalgie...
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a journey.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
However I can!
I also partnered up with some friends to take over organizing my the weekly happy hour meet ups in Seattle... until I had to leave the city that is! (As is the nature of Couchsurfers...)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Hosted some, surfed some, explored the world with others... loved it all
Interests
I love: coffee, cooking, languages, traveling (no kidding...), yoga, rock climbing, biking, literature, the coffee shop across the street from my house, Seattle, my friends, my parent's porch, and music.
I dislike: impersonal interactions, misplaced punctuation marks, when people leave the "i" out of "Jessie", and being kept from peeing when I have to.
