About Me
Hi!
I am Diva and I am currently traveling around the USA...
I think above everything else, getting better at illustration and fine art is something I am happy dedicating my time to. I love sketching everything from landscapes to portraits, world-building and story writing is also something I get really excited about.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m using couch surfing because I enjoy meeting lots of different kinds people and I prefer these kinds of interactions over staying in hostels, plus being able to walk around and take in a place slowly is my preferred way of going about things. As cliche as it sounds I love getting to know a place through the lens of someone who lives there and loves it, it makes everything feel more normal.. calmer? casual? special? some adjective or another.
Interests
I’m pretty interested in most things really but I love being outdoors, walking, climbing swimming etc
I equally enjoy sitting around with a cup of tea and a book.
Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading, I think I'll read most things but my current favourite author is Cormac McCarthy, I'm currently reading The Orchard Keeper, which is his first novel.
Music too I am happy to listen to a variety of genres, I love going to see small live music gigs... Love a bit of live Jazz.
Some of my all time favourite musicians are Laura Marling and The Drones (There are many more but I'd run out of space trying to list them all).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One thing I've done that I thought was pretty cool was hitchhiking through Portugal by myself and walking along the coast when I couldn't find a ride, it's the most beautiful country and I have never felt so calm and free.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I enjoy cooking for people but it's also a low key stressful event because I always just throw together whatever ingredients I have at hand and some times it's Amazing and other times it's.. less than amazing (Never out right bad though).
Countries I’ve Visited
Japan, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, United States
Countries I’ve Lived In
Australia
