About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See the world, meet people, share experiences...Basically, just have the time of my life

ABOUT ME

I am laid back and love meeting new people. Laughter is what crosses cultural barriers.

I was born in the US and grew up predominantly in the Princeton area, but I also lived in London for a couple of years as a child which gave me a unique opportunity to see much of Europe at some pivotal moments. I worked in the US for a few years after I graduated from university, but it left me wanting to do something more socially responsible. I have been working around the world with different NGO's, primarily in India working with lepers and street orphans.

Now I am just trying to find my place in the world!

PHILOSOPHY

Every passion has a business model. Find something you love and just do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just signed up, but I hope to surf and host as much as possible and share my experiences with people from all over the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Traveling through South America was probably the best "couchsurfing" experiences I have had. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, I would eat with locals and by the end of the meal I would have invitations to their respective homes and insight to their way of life. Even if they had nothing to give, they made me one of their own.

Interests

I love scuba diving and am starting to get into ice climbing. I just reached the Master Scuba diver rating and am excited to travel the world from yet another perspective.

I am a fan of all things culinary, wine related and I love Belgian beer.

Mostly, I like going out with friends, but I do enjoy nights with some books or films.
