I spent a lot of time traveling alone. While most of the time, I'm meeting up with someone at my destination, there are times when it's just nice to have a partner in crime. Someone who wants to see the unseen, or to meet up with someone who can show me things I might miss on my own!

兴趣

I love music, unicorns, hula-hooping, riding my bike, and roller derby. Bacon and laughing. I love anything that sparkles, meeting new people, and doing the dishes. I love the written word and the beach. Grammar. Veronica Mars.

My dad was in a pretty gnarly accident several years ago, so I dropped out of school and quit my jobs to help take care of him. I have a kick-ass son, whom I adore.

This could take till next year. . .But in a nutshell: Musically,Pandora seems to think I'm a hipster. Movies - please don't ever expect me to sit through a romantic comedy. And on my lovely written word . . . books are somewhat of an obsession with me. Too much to say. Just know that I might be that girl sitting alone at the bar, 'nose-deep in literature', as a friend once said.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

* Overlooking the Thames River at night from the 17th floor of a new friend's office. He took me there, because while I was in London, the London Eye was down for repair. Did I mention that I have a love affair with ferris wheels?

* Electric Forest Music Festival 2011 - best weekend of my entire life. I have the pictures to prove it.

* Taking a sunset sail off the North Carolina coast with three of my best friends.

* Seeing double rainbows (like the ones I saw a couple days ago)
