I'm a British Indian girl, who is currently on an Erasmus exchange in the Netherlands

I love to dance, hip hop, salsa, bollywood, reggaeton (and anything when the rhythm hits me). My taste in music is as varied as my dance styles and depends on my mood, (old school rnb & hip hop , Bollywood (contemporary indian music), reggaeton, Arabic music, grime, afrobeats).

I am pretty philosophical as a person so expect a lot of deep, intriguing conversations but also love to learn and experience different cultures. I believe that finding unexpected connections with people is one of the most powerful experiences in helping you grow as a person.

I can share both my knowledge of Indian culture (which has been a huge part of how I have grown up and a huge influence in my values today) as well as the British part of nationality. And as shown above, through my music choices, I can talk about countless aspects of other cultures that have influenced my tastes today.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Shown consistent resilience and grace when faced with struggles

Most recently...making the decision to live abroad by myself when I had not even taken a plane alone before. Staying in the same hostel for the first 2 months of being abroad with 14 changeable strangers when I had never experienced staying in one before. This was only the start of the many experiences I have faced and the rest of the information I'll leave for the couchsurfing conversation :) )
