About Me

A working professional living in New Delhi, with a relentless zest for Travelling and Trekking. My place is 13 kms from the Delhi airport. I would love to meet fellow travellers interested in backpacking together or going on trekking expeditions together. I’ve been a traveller since i realised that travelling is not a time out from life, but life itself. I am a chilled out, outspoken, frank, learned, Aware extrovert from the Indian state of Uttrakhand. I am a Pahadi or a person hailing from the Mountains. I belong to the Indigenous Garhwali tribe belonging to the Garhwal Himalayas in the Himalayan State of Uttrakhand in India. I love to tell stories, and to listen to them. I love new adventures and cultures, and i am open to anything till it resonates with my believes and conscience. I believe that the most important thing is to be Aware, and have empathy towards everything that we are experiencing, whether a person, a place, or a thing. I am single. I smoke occasionally. I can drive. I can drink. I write and i travel! Hey! ☺️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have a knack for Solo travelling and cities across the world are on my list. I believe that traveling is as much about the people that you choose to travel with, as it is about the place that you choose to travel to. I intend to meet new people and share with them the only things that i can truly and honestly offer - Respect, Curiosity, Stories, A good, Easy company, and Knowledge of things that i’ve exclusively been Exposed to because of where i was born, and what i was born into.
I would like to sum the reason of my presence here with a quote that i read and memorised for life : “ Everyone that you meet knows something that you don’t.”

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Did a solo trip once across South India! I think it was pretty Awesome! I have stories. ☺️

Teach, Learn, Share

I am from India and i know cooking, So that’s something i can teach. I am a curious person with interests in anything and everything weird, crazy, New, exciting, adventurous and alien. I love stories; Love to tell and hear them! I am an easy going person with zero adjustment issues. As long as the moments are interesting, i really don’t care about the comfort. I like being uncomfortable, as that helps me look for solutions or to learn how to handle new situations. I’d love to share Stories, Knowledge, and little nuances of My culture. I am a mountain born, coming from a Himalayan tribe called Garhwalies ( Google), and i hail from the Garhwal Himalayas. I work in a hill station called Pauri Garhwal, in the state of Uttrakhand. I love short trips, and i often travel solo. I just like to be out there, Doesn’t matter to me how. I ask a lot of questions, and i can go on and on about Trekks, and places, and people, and politics, and music, and movies, and shows, and cultures, and anything and everything that i have been able to learn about. Love to read. Love to write, and would love to share my writings and poems.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to write and would love to share my poems and stories and write ups! I have some really awesome pictures from my travels around the Himalayas, of small villages, towns, snow capped mountains, indigenous tribes across the Garhwal Himalayan Region, and places that only the locals know of! I have stories! I know cooking, and would love to cook Indian food for you! What else? I’d love to give my hosts little gifts such as mementos from India, from my culture (Garhwali - A Himalayan Mountain tribe indigenous to the Garhwal Himalayas in the Indian state of Uttrakhand). I am proficient in Hindi, and can teach that. What more? I can share a drink! A smoke! Anything. I am up for new experiences and adventures, and i don’t tire easily, and can go all night! I love trekking, and frequent Himalayan Treks fill up my To do lists every month! What more? I know little bit about Indian astrology, and a lot about Hindu religion , Gods, myths, and cultures.
