About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To create unforgettable memories.

ABOUT ME

I've lived in Oregon for 25 years and I call it home. Now I want to travel and make friends in all kinds of places. I love being adventurous and am looking forward to meeting people that like to explore and share. A huge passion in my life is Acro Yoga. I can't get enough of it! I am the coordinator of my friends. I like to plan concerts, snow boarding cabin trips, going out downtown, or just dinner and game nights. I like to be physically active and I also like to have alone time to think and to relax. I live with my boyfriend and Acro partner, Jacob. We teach Acro Yoga and we love to travel. We would love to show you what you might think is impossible! Here is Jacob's profile:

you fly." -Neil Gaiman

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been with close friends for a couple of years while they hosted and traveled using couchsurfing. Now it's my turn. We started hosting (officially) about 5 years ago and are really enjoying the experiences here at home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first surfing experience was to the Big Island of Hawaii! My bf was doing a study abroad program in Mexico for a few months so I decided to make a trip of my own! I had the best time meeting new people and exploring all around the island.

Interests

Acro yoga, gymnastics, snow boarding, running, hiking, rafting, volleyball, softball, swimming, floating the river, roller skating, riding horses, and picnics at the park.

Welding, laser tag, driving 5 speed cars, going to concerts, camping, and carving pumpkins.

Inspiring music, drawing, painting, comic books/graphic novels, Nintendo games, journal writing, and reading books.

Collecting swimsuits, being in the sun, planning and being in treasure hunts, board games, card games, watching movies, cozy blankets, dancing at 80's night, making sand castles, playing in the waves, going to hot springs, roller coasters, hot bubble baths, meeting new people, Disney movies and mac and cheese.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music a lot. I am always listening to it. Michael Jackson, Pink, Mariah Carey, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, R. Kelly, Madonna, En Vogue, Lady Gaga, Enya, Tom Petty, Steve Miller band, Sublime, Weezer, Queen, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Everclear, 2Pac, Nas, Blackalicious, Damian Marley, Bob Marley, Fugees, Eminem, Common, Brother Ali, I also like 80's, oldies, and Disney songs.

For movies, I like all kinds. Here is some of my favorites. P.S. I love you, Dirty Dancing, The notebook, You've got mail, The sweetest thing, Sex and the city series, Grease 1 and 2, The Princess Bride, Romancing the stone, City of Angels.
Love, love, love anything Disney.

For books, anything Michael Crichton. Sphere, Andromeda Strain, State of Fear, Timeline, Congo, and of course Jurassic Park. I especially liked his Travels. I have read almost everything he wrote. Stephen King is great too. Loved Duma Key, and The Shining. Need to read more of him.

I love comic books too or graphic novels. The Watchmen was what got me started. Then I read more Allan Moore stuff like V for vendetta, The league of extraordinary gentlemen, and the Promethea series. Now I am reading The Sandman series by Neil Gaiman. I also like X-men comics and the 90's cartoon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Planned the best birthday treasure hunt ever for my ex boyfriend (bf at the time)! He had a full day of finding clues. He had a treasure map in a bottle in the pond and there was a treasure chest he had to dig up. There was running, swimming, bowling, mini golf, and book stores with clues in his favorite books. There were desserts with messages, and balloons he had to pop for clues and drinks he had to order at bars for directions. Then a surprise party with all his friends at the end! He says it's the best B-Day he has ever had! I love to plan these for all my close friends.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ask me about Acro yoga! I would love to show you what you can do! Most people are happily surprised at what they can do on their first try! I used to coach level 1 and 2 gymnastics. Also I'm good with directions and showing people around. I can teach snow boarding and driving a manual car.

I like learning information and also skills. I want to learn how to hula hoop, and how to ride a motorcycle. Ooh I really want to learn to surf and skate board too! Also would like to go to a horse race.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My favorite thing to share is Acro Yoga! It's a partner yoga that creates connections with others in a supportive and laughter filled environment. It's so fun to see what shapes we can make and create together! Jacob and I love teaching people this stuff! We teach at different festivals around the U.S. and also our weekly class at home where we live in Eugene, OR. It can also work with a group of people as well. All you need is a flat space and each other!
