Overview
About Me
I'm a California-born Franco-American. Went to UCLA where I studied French and Political Science and then I moved to France. After three years of chillin' there, I decided that Berlin would be the next place on my list (and hopefully here, I can actually live la vie Bohème and get some writing done). Statistics show that I am consistently one of the three most interesting people in the room.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met a really cool Italo-Eritrean-British doctor chick who told me I should get on this. It sounded like sound medical advice.
Interests
Back in the beginning of Facebook, I had an epic alphabet of interests, just 26 of them. It was, like, well conceived, playful, and actually reflected a bit of who I am. Then the FB wanted to categorize and track everything and it started creating likable groups and activities. For example, my interest "killing time" became a bloody gorefest of a video game called "Killing Time". I'm not adverse to first-person shooters, but I've never even played that game. So that's definitely not on of my interests. I still like killing time and arts, cultures, languages, writing, x'ing my heart (not hoping to die), intertubing down the Yesopotamia, and catching up on some hard-earned zzzzzzs.

Music, Movies, and Books
I actually have a favorite book: John Kennedy Toole's "A Confederacy of Dunces".
I'm also on a "The Unbearable Lightness of Being" by Kundera wave.
Seamus Heaney is my favorite poet.
I dig Belle & Sebastian (the band), Radiohead, haven't listened to Coldplay in a while, but they were up there once. Jazz, classic rock, does anybody not like all types of music nowadays?
French New Wave cinema and "What About Bob?"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once found a guy's ID card in the metro. And I gave it to the lost & found. Nobody does stuff like that anymore.

I can cook for you. And I've cleaned strangers kitchens in the past. Like, I'm pretty chill, but I don't like dirty kitchens.
