About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Send out good vibes and positive energy to the universe and everyone around me.

ABOUT ME
I have caught the travel bug so now can't stay in one place too long.

I love trying new things and being faced with new challenges. To me, meeting new people is one of the best things in life. I love to meet people who inspire or challenge me in some way. I am always seeking to engage in interesting conversation and exchange ideas.

I have had a fairly unconventional life so far... I'm an adventurous spirit and hope to see and experience as much of this world as possible during my lifetime.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe a feeling of purpose, hope and a sense of community is the secret to contentment and happiness.

I’m a strong believer in taking new opportunities that come your way and always being open to trying new things.

I believe success is about always continuing to challenge yourself and to grow and to share these things with others. Always striving to positivity influence those around you and spread some sunshine each and every day.

Never let fear dictate your life.
Appreciate your blessings/ be grateful.
Learn from your mistakes.
Be kind and understanding.
Always use manners.
Smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Phenomenal experiences in Indonesia, Malaysia, the US, Mexico, Vietnam, Japan, South Korea, Sweden and Denmark thus far.

I love to couchsurf as it gives you a local perspective on a place and opens you to opportunities you may not have otherwise.

I haven't had the space to host as much as I would have liked but so far have hosted surfers in Colombia, Bali and Taiwan, and am looking forward to settling down again (in Europe) and being able to host some more.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
Love documentaries! Also, Almost Famous, Side Effects, American History X, The Prestige, Candy.. I seem to not have seen many films though, fall asleep during them or never seem to find the time!

Books: I love autobiographies and biographies. Some favourites would have to be The Road to Lost Innocence by Somali Mam and The People Smuggler by Robin De Crespigny.

Music: I love most music, there's a time and place for any genre. I especially love folk, indie rock, jazz, blues, reggae... Admire musicians completely and hope to learn to play guitar one day. (My boyfriend Vlad plays guitar and piano and is able to make some sounds from basically any instrument he picks up!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many amazing experiences... Stand outs would have to be:
-sleeping in a hammock in the Amazon Rainforest
-staying in the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India
-scuba diving in Komodo National Park, Indo
-riding a scooter and camping all over Indonesia
-hitch hiking around Mexico
-swimming with Whale Sharks
-sailing from Mexico to Guatemala and swimming with a pod of dolphins on the way
-cycling the circumference of Taiwan
-hitch hiking across Israel
-attending a rainbow gathering & gallivanting around the Canary Islands like a hippie

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn anything people would like to teach. From cooking to surfing to something specifically related to a culture. I want to learn it all!!

I can show you around Berlin.

I have lots of stories and experience to share. I am also a scuba dive instructor. I can cook for you, not particularly well, but I can cook!
