Chi sono
CURRENT MISSION
Already married, and trying to convince the wife to host again.
ABOUT ME
I like traveling. I like to experience different new things.
I like watching movies and documentaries. I can watch NGC, or Discovery or BBC all day long. Exception for Animal Planet. Haha!
I enjoy reading but not trying hard enough.
I also collect memorabilia from my travels. Bus tickets, train tickets, museum tickets, coins, notes, postcards. You name it.
Sometimes I do the typical stuffs. Sometimes I do the atypical stuffs.
That's what normal adventurous people do, methinks?

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to help travelers with infos about Malaysia, about Ipoh my hometown, about anything I can. You can ask, and I'll try to answer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well...
I couchsurfed in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Venice, and Florence. All my hosts are my friends now. I'm truly grateful to all of them. They give me a lot more meaning to being human and to help one another. Recently I surfed in Moscow.
I hope I can meet them again and return their favour :)
Also, while in Ukraine, I participated in Language Exchange Meetings and met many nice people. It's a good idea for brushing up language skills and having nice conversations.
My first hosting experience is with Jon & Ania. Such a nice pair!
Next came Kris and Elena, spending a few days here.
After that, Clem came for a visit and we've been in contact since.
Dominik and Pola stayed for 2 nights, with a full day going through temples and caves in Ipoh. and a fun ride enjoying the view of Ipoh in night time.
Behnaz and Pegah and their mom spent a night, enjoying the company of my parents.
I participated in a few CS meetups. CS is full with very nice people!

Musica, film e libri
I enjoy epic movies, or any cultural non-Hollywood movies.
I don't listen to music.
I read classics and trying to read as variable classics as I can. if possible, classics from all over the world!
Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto
Spending a night at Rome Train Station, a night at a parking lot in Vienna, Odessa opera house, a month going around Europe with a travel buddy. That was sure a long month!
A trip up the river Chao Phraya.
A lone flight to Egypt and back to Ukraine.
Braving a tropical monsoon, trying to reach the bus station in a taxi, in the middle of the night, in stormy Manila, only to arrive at the bus station with a power outage and reaching the airport and having our flight delayed for 5 hours, to let the storm pass through our flight path.
Recently I climbed Mt. Kinabalu, the highest peak in Malaysia and Borneo. I didn't reach the summit though (age is catching up on me, sigh). But I'll try again next year. This time with proper stamina and fitness training.

Amsterdam is sure a popular city, you have to do a long search for CSers there. and the bus tickets going there sells fast. you don't want to miss your bus~
