Hi!
My name is Djamila, I´m 21 years old, originally from Berlin and now living in Dresden, Germany. I´m in my thirdyear of studying international affairs, that´s why I moved to this beautiful town where I´m living now. I love travelling, as I meet different cultures and people from all over the world, as much as I appreciate a good coffee and popcorn. I´m also really interested in politics and I often go to live concerts. I can´t pronounce the "th" right, but at least I once won a contest in long jump with jumping a distance of 4.8m. HA!
I´d describe myself as an open-minded and uncomplicated person, who´s always there for a good laugh. I´m also really unpretentious; I don´t need a lot to be happy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I´m a student, the low-budget way of meeting local people and getting to know the city they live in at the same time, I see as the perfect way to travel. I also got only positive feedbacks from Couchsurfing from a lot of friends and I now want to try it myself. In my soonest semester break, I´m am traveling to Moscow and I´m really looking forward to meeting new people!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´ve been working in an after-school project in Cuzco, Peru. It was an amazing experience and I really miss Chicho, my home-kiddo. Oh and I hitchhiked from Dresden to Paris, which was really nice as well!
