ABOUT ME

My travelling has tought me to always be paying attention, and never to forget that life is happening right now. I know a thought like this can almost appear banal on a site like CS... well that's good!

I would say I am both expansive and reflexive, funny and calm. I've been living in Montreal since last september, and I love it. I love literature, music, good discussions, a bicycle ride along the canal Lachine, learn new words, try recipes. I had the chance to travel and live abroad at a young age, in Africa and Europe, and these were without any doubt the most significant experiences of my life. For now I teach languages, French and Italian, but I hope I can try many jobs, different from one another, like baker, tourist guide, international volunteer, mailman, garbage collector, that would be great.

Mes voyages m'ont appris à toujours demeurer attentif, et ne jamais oublier que la vie est maintenant. Je sais que ce genre de réflexion peut paraître banal sur un site tel que CS... tant mieux!

Je dirais que je suis à la fois expansif et introspectif, drôle et calme. J'habite à Montréal depuis septembre 08 et ça me plaît beaucoup. J'aime la littérature, la musique, les bonnes discussions, un tour de vélo le long du canal Lachine, apprendre de nouveaux mots, de nouvelles recettes. J'ai eu la chance de voyager et de vivre à l'étranger tout jeune, et sans aucun doute ces expériences ont été les plus significatives de ma vie. Pour le moment j'enseigne le français et l'italien, mais j'aimerais essayer différents types d'emplois, comme boulanger, guide touristique, bénévole à l'international, facteur, éboueur, ça serait génial.

PHILOSOPHY

A very simple philosophy: People work too much and have no time left for living. So buy less = less money needed = work less = more time for yourself and the people that are most important to you.

Une philosophie toute simple: les gens travaillent trop et n'ont aucun temps pour vivre. Bref, acheter moins = moins besoin d'argent = moins besoin de travailler = plus de temps pour soi et les personnes les plus importantes pour nous.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a very nice experience using the site for my trip to Hungary, my hosts were so nice with me that I felt like doing the same for other people. I guess that's what the community was designed for! (clever eh?)

J'ai vécu une expérience très agréable grâce à CS lors de mon voyage en Hongrie, mes hôtes étaient tellement sympathiques que l'envie m'a pris de faire de même pour d'autres personnes. J'imagine que c'est ce pour quoi la communauté a été créée! (futé, non?)
