Overview
About Me
From the Northern California Wine Country originally, I've lived in the Austin, Texas area for most of my adult life, and I regularly visit family members in Oregon. Other than that, so far I've lived in Vancouver, Toronto, Montréal, San Diego, Dallas, Florida, and Hawaii, and I've been doing some long road trips (several months) in recent years.
I carry yoga teacher and nutritional health coach certifications. I manage operations for a large company in the catastrophe response business when I'm not coaching or working hard as a staff member organizing and producing progressive political campaigns, including those of Bernie Sanders, whose campaigns I was regional staff for in 2016 and national staff for in 2020.
I live for sunshine, nature, and athletic fun. I love seeking out delicious nutritious foods and drinks, traveling and meeting new people and learning about each other and laughing together, and building towards having a large and positive impact on the world.

Music, Movies, and Books
Count me in for everything except polka, tejano, redneck, opera, and maybe a few others; I was a DJ for 15 years. I'm very much a non-fiction guy when it comes to movies, books, audiobooks, and podcasts, and I enjoy fictional movies and shows when they involve intellect.
