Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have my feet deeply rooted in the ground, and my head high up in the clouds.
ABOUT ME
Friendly, talkative and prone to laughter. Cynical, but utterly optimistic. I'm afflicted with the smiling disease, and yes, it is contagious!! I feel at home in the forest and mountains, but enjoy visiting cities too.My dream is to travel around the world while setting up different cultural, artsitic, and educational initiatives...
PHILOSOPHY
When you smile, the world smiles with you.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've hosted people in France, Spain and Singapore, but have only surfed on someone's couch once. I sometimes meet up with other CSers for coffee or drinks. CS is just such an amazing concept and it's always a great pleasure to welcome people from around the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've traveled around quite a bit, and found that the best trips are the ones where you get to spend time and share simple everyday life moments with the people living in the area. That's why I try to host people whenever I can and make them feel as much at home as possible.
Interests
Traveling, hiking, talking to trees and stars. Discovering new places, perspectives, cultures and lifestyles. Singing in the rain, going out with friends. Going to concerts, festivals, and jam sessions. Devouring books. Watching movies. Writing, working on my first real story. Living life one minute at the time. Making people laugh and smile. Cooking, eating, drinking. Spending time in the great outdoors... Learning to be human again, growing my own good, building my home from the ground up, beekeeping, sailing....How long exactly can this list be?

Music, Movies, and Books
As a friend of mine puts it: this is a conversation, not a list! But, I love all three, and am quite ecclectic in all three areas! I like trying a little bit of everything and am open to any recommendations, and love discussing these subjects extensively!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been travelling on my own for the past year (7 months in South America and 5 in New Zealand). I plan to visit parts of Australia, and south east Asia next. In the last 13 years I've never lived in the same place for more than 2 years...I crossed the Pyrennes by foot on my own to go visit my sister in Barcelona. My first hike was the GR20 in Corsica and it got me hooked! Since I've been going on annual solitary hikes which are usually amazing!
Teach, Learn, Share
Well, I teach French and English on a daily basis, and also train teachers to teach foreign languages, so communicative and pedagogical skills are probably the best thing i can offer. I'm also always eager to learn new things and lend a hand when I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
French cuisine, a good bottle of wine, crafternoons, movie nights, help around the house and gardens, stories, smiles, laughs....
