Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I lived by myself, I'd offer a couch in a heartbeat, and know that the day I move out I will.

Otherwise, anyone in the area that needs ANYTHING -- directions, an emergency gallon of gas, an emergency couch, suggestions on things to do, etc., should shoot me a message. I'd like to help out in any way possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I wish I had more to say here, but most of my CouchSurfing has been limited to spur of the moment stays on friend's couches/floors in nearby states.

Interests

Music - I produce and DJ mainly Electronic Dance Music (EDM)at raves and other events I'm hired to play at, as well as own a record label dedicated to underground EDM artists and run a production group that handles the business/organization aspect of the raves.

Traveling - I find traveling is one of the best ways to have fun as well as grow as a person. Naturally, this lead to couch surfing.

Other People/Psychology - I just enjoy getting to know people and paying attention. I plant to take Psychology as one of my two undergrad majors.

Business - I find myself looking for the marketability in any idea these days. I run my own record label, production company, as well as promote myself as a DJ. I plan to pursue business as one of my two undergrad minors.

Writing - Mainly realistic fiction or nonfiction on topics I'm knowledgeable in. I write both short stories and am forever working on my life's novel.

Cooking - I love cooking, and I feel like cuisine is a part of culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Rock (Classic, Alternative, Punk, Indie), Electronic Dance Music (Trance, House, Electro, Hardstyle, Dubstep, Hard Dance), Jazz, Orchestral (Mainly Movie Soundtracks).

Books - Though I admit to liking some fantasy, I mostly read realistic fiction and nonfiction on topics I'm out to learn about. (Auto)Biographies can be interesting, too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing in front of a crowd of 800+ people who were going insane to my music was one of the most exhilarating moments of my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to teach people the basics of Electronic Dance Music (EDM), and even DJing. I could maybe even give a basic lesson in producing!

I'd be great to trade writing critiques as well.

I'd also love to teach and learn how to cook dishes I've collected in my travels.
