About Me

CURRENT MISSION

If i ever reach a point where I can reduce my life goals to a sentence, please shoot me.

ABOUT ME

Currently living in Manchester, working badly paid temp jobs and trying to get it together to leave the country. I know a small amount about lots of topics, always up for talking nonsense about anything. I've been described as "far too nice", "a damn hippie" (I'm vegetarian - apparently that makes me a hippie in these times. For the record I'm NOT a hippie, whatever that means anyway.) and "that guy who won't shut up about politics". Honestly, I will shut up if you ask me to though.

PHILOSOPHY

Believe nothing, disbelieve nothing, be nice to people! There's far more, more than happy to talk about it to anyone who'll let me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Recently moved in with two friends I've known for ages who regularly host couchsurfers, had a few people stay here since I moved in. I try to be friendly!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

see above! not surfed anywhere, hosted a few people (arranged through my housemates profile). Met some sound people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Punk, jungle, drum and bass, dub, dubstep, reggae, ska, 2-tone, plenty of other stuff

Books:
Travel writing, political ranting, Sci-fi/Cyberpunk, Robert Anton Wilson, Philip K Dick, William Gibson, Iain (M) Banks, Thomas Pynchon, William Dalrymple,

Movies:
Not that big on Movies/TV to be honest. Do like a good bit of sci-fi, either high-brow or trashy, either's fine. Quite like a good documentary as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

survived for 2 weeks on essentially no money in India (including travelling 1500km). The kindness of strangers is pretty good for restoring faith in humanity.

Teach, Learn, Share

Bike repair, political theory, economics (gods help you if you want to learn about it), bass guitar, how to survive on very little money,
