Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To expand my understanding of the world and the people on it.
ABOUT ME
I will not be likely be able to host any travellers for a while. When this changes I will update this profile.
I'm a fairly relaxed person with a desire to talk to people with some intellect. I can hold a conversation about nearly anything with interest and at least some knowledge.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the world is a small enough place where we can all learn a little from one another and for the most part get along well together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I sometimes go to meetings and host when I can.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed London with Steve, surfed Denver with Ian, and surfed Jackson, WY with Isabelle and her roommates. I have hosted two German brothers for a few nights and a Belgian couple for two nights (my girlfriend and I later traveled and surfed their couch in Miami). UPDATE, I am unable to keep up with this. There are many more of you wonderful people that I have hosted or crashed at your place but this list is already getting tedious. Rest assured, I valued every visit.
Interests
I have a wide variety of interests and hobbies, from reading to soccer to cooking to painting. This year I've tried to learn new things and have had some success in the above mentioned areas. I always feel the need to try new things and am open to any suggestions. Also, I seem to be in a board game kick right now, so if you want to get in on some Trivial Pursuit or Scrabble then I'm down.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like almost all of the American and most of the European authors I've read which are usually turn of the century or 1920's writers. I don't think I'm too into contemporary books, and I might say the same thing about most music. Movies? I can enjoy most any movie, but top three are Cool Hand Luke, Snatch, and Goodfellas.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned how to breathe underwater recently, it's not too hard.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a person to fish, cook, build things from wood or metal, paint, etc.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom
