ABOUT ME

I am passionate about Couchsurfing and building community. I enjoy people of all various faiths and beliefs to enrich my life. I enjoy being active within Couchsurfing and encourage others do to so as well.

I am newly married, and live with my wife and my son. We always enjoy couchsurfers. My wife is Filipino and is a great cook. I always like to learn something new from my surfers. To learn new receipes, or to find out a new phrase in a language I don't know.

I also have been interviewed by our local newspaper advocating Couchsurfing.

PHILOSOPHY

Rejoice always, Pray without ceasing, and in all things give thanks for this is the will of God.

On Friday and Saturday nights we have Shabbat gatherings at my house. Others are welcome and will occur if you stay with us on those days.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a moderator for the Kansas City Area Couch surfing community and help to plan activities to allow more interaction and community based activities

I help to build a network of people who can rely on others generosity. People do care about others and good people still exist in our world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a CS member at a coffee shop needing a ride from one location to his couch. He told me about it and I love the idea.

I have since hosted many people and enjoy it more every time. The hospitality and friendliness of strangers is an amazing spectical.

I also enjoy hosting gatherings and planning activities for the community.

Surfing has also been a very enjoyable experience for me.

Interessi

I enjoy cooking and reading. I am eclectic in almost every facet of my life. Normal is boring! I love board games. And I have a large collection.

I enjoy movies, music, and good food. I love to sit and hear others stories. And always willing to talk about my faith and beliefs with anyone.

Also good when there is wine involved.

I am amazed that this continues to work and grows. I love that I have met so many amazing people across the country who are weird and let strangers sleep on their couch as well.

Give of yourself when you couch surf. Leave a treasure and take a treasure from those who are hosting. The greatest offering we have is of ourselves. I will always send you out from a stay with my prayers and blessings.
