I'm a half Philipino/half Irish girl bouncing around the world. Originally from California, I now live in Bushwick, Brooklyn in a loft space that used to be a Tea Factory. Music makes my world go round and meditation brings me to other dimensions. I'm an event photographer, wire-wrap jewelry, skateboarder, fencer, muy-thai, and lighting artist working in the tech industry. My passions run in every direction and I'd be happy to map out the hip spots of the city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have CS all over Europe and have give CS'ers rides in exchange for camping spots. It has been fun-loving ebvery time, all the time.

Centres d'intérêt

Music: concerts, creating, shows, drum circles, radio, festivals,bass in my face, etc. I love correlating soundtracks to fit the mood or compliment the atmosphere. Great sound, good atmosphere, perfect lighting....das whats up! This all means, I love going out and being around people

Fencing: I am a previous junior olympian epee fencer and curently fence for my college at Stevens. Fencing is a physical chess in which the essence of fencing is to give, but by no means to receive. I can teach you some basics!

Human Behavior: communication, interaction, philosophy, reality, passion, life style, culture, knowledge, spirituality - People amaze me,i found all of it fascinating and would love to strike up a good conversation.

Art: Growing up in an artistic family has always put me in the creative mind set. I enjoy all types of art but especially contemporary street art. I got to showcase one of my art installations at Burning Man!

Other than that...collecting random things, smiling till my mouth hurts, laughing till I have a six pack, running in new environments, incense and dim lighting, running miles, enjoying a little bit of everything

Music: dubstep, drum & bass, indie, experimental, noise, jungle, reggae, acid jazz, instrumental, metal, grindcore, underground hip hop, neo-soul, psychedelic, jazz, trip-hop. I can hang with bjork, dystopia, sage francis, caspa, gogol bordello, explosions in the sky, the locust, nicki minaj, grizzly bear, james brown, portishead, funkadelic, devandra banhart, etc... Music is my passion, I appreciate almost all noise as long as I can feel the rhythm and dance dance dance.

Movies: Amelie, Gladiators, The Darjeeling Limited Blow, Primer, Fight Club, Mulholland Drive. Most of all, I'm a sucker for documentaries on social, culture, science, nature and adventure.
