G'day I'm Murray! I'm backpacking around Europe for 6-7 months and I'd love any opportunity to meet new people, see amazing things, and try the local brew. I'm new to Couchsurfing, but I'm excited to live life like a local as I see each new country I visit.

I'm a clean, neat, and polite guest, but I'm all about having a good time. Taking it easy or doing something exciting, I'm the first on and the last off. Bit of a flashpacker, as a filmmaker I love somewhere to charge my stuff and some free Wi-Fi. It also means I have plenty of photos and videos to share from my travels!

Non-smoker or anything else like that, but I do love a good beer or whatever's going. I am Australian after all! I think I'm a great character with a lot of passion and I'm great to get along with!

As a backpacker I'm on a shoestring budget, I'm looking to save what money where I can. The more I save the longer I can travel! I'll embrace any chance I can to meet the amazing people that would let me stay with them and share their lives with an earnest traveller like myself.

Thanks to the amazing experiences I've had while traveling and the incredible people who've been generous enough to host me so far, I'm really excited become a host back in Australia. I used to show international students around my country when I was a Residential Support Officer at the University of Canberra, and I miss the feeling already.

I studied film at uni and I'm a director by trade, so I love a good movie. My favorite movie is Star Wars, my favorite director is Tarantino the list goes on from there. Get me started and try to shut me up about movies.

Love the old school music, classic rock, power pop and disco, but there isn't much I can't jam too. I used to DJ as well.

I don't read these days but I have many favorites from when I was a kid, mainly by Matthew Reilly.

Years ago I saw a picture of a magical looking bridge called the Rakotzbrücke, and while in Germany I traveled for days to finally see it with my own eyes. It is one of the most incredible places I've ever visited, and while there I took this picture.
