ABOUT ME
I love traveling, obviously. I love observing people (in a non-weird way, promise) and trying to get to know interesting elements of their culture and what makes them unique. Also love writing and photography.
I'd consider myself very open minded and extremely curious to try and learn new things. Also I eat anything - seriously, the weirder the better!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Very happy and willing to catch up with any travelers and attempt to show them around Melbourne
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Tried couchsurfing in Europe and had an amazing time and met some incredible people. I've met a few travellers in Australia as well and more than happy to show others around over here.

Music, Movies, and Books
So many! Books: I haven't read much newer stuff which I'm disappointed about but I've read all sorts of things from the old masters, being a lit student and all. Favourites would be Hemingway, Woolf, Joyce, Arundhati Roy, Kafka and a heap more.
Movies: The Matrix, LOTR, Apocalypse Now, Massive De Niro fan: Goodfellas, Deer Hunter, Taxi Driver, Godfather. Also love gangster films and war films.
Music: Indie Rock stylings of Modest Mouse, Strokes, Bloc Party etc. Absolutely LOVE Bob Dylan. Older stuff such as Pink Floyd, The Doors, The Clash, Ramones, Nirvana. And dabble into Gangster rap as well such as Dr. Dre, Eminem, Tupac, NWA. More of the old stuff
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Probably in Japan when we visited the temples in Nikko and we were pretty late in the day and it started snowing when we were all alone in the courtyard of this incredibly old temple. Everything was closed so we just hung out in the snow and took it all in.
Teach, Learn, Share
Hmm... I share book recommendations. Perhaps writing tips? I can speak (or attempt) a few languages so more than happy to share/teach/learn those. Also love photography and would love to hang out and take some photos if anyone's keen?
I love to learn and I think chatting to people, getting to know about them a little bit is the best way. And I've learnt that everyone always, ALWAYS has something incredible to teach you, sometimes you just need to search for it!
What I Can Share with Hosts
More than happy to meet up for a drink or a coffee. I'm horrible with directions but I am gifted at using a smart phone to direct around. I also have a car so if you're keen for a road trip, I might be able to help.
